hi clo,

for me, the obligation occurs as a result of sexual activity. so if a woman is having sex and doesn't wish to have a baby, it is worth checking for pregnancy.

given the simplicity and cost of the test devices and the high sensitivity, i don't think the burden is unreasonable.

actually, i think the test devices should be close to free.

Unless a woman is trying to get pregnant, she may not know she is at 12 weeks.
Many women are irregular.
