It seems that Sean Hannity at Faux News may be the first in the media to directly ask Senator Ted Cruz about the issue of his birthplace (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) with respect to whether he would be eligible to run for President, and as I stated in my original posting, Cruz considers himself an 'American by birth' due to his mother's US citizenship, irrespective of where he was actually born, and which Hannity seemed to accept:

Too bad Hannity and others at Faux News never supported that point of view when the birthers were in full force attacking the President over his eligibility. After all, Obama had TWO points going for him, his mother was an American and he was born on US soil, while Cruz has only met ONE of those criteria.

We should all listen very carefully if and when someone starts suggesting that perhaps Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) should consider running for President. I want to hear what Sister Sarah and Orly Taitz have to say about that. After all, his father was a non-citizen Cuban immigrant who fought with Fidel Castro and while it is true that his mother was a native born American, Ted Cruz is NOT. He was born in Calgary, Alberta, CANADA and didn't set foot in the United States until he was 4 years old yet he considers himself 'native born' due to his mother's citizenship.
