Everyone pays taxes.

...everyone doesn't pay federal income taxes and that's what the refunds are.

...minimum wage is an entry level salary. Raising the minimum wage doesn't do anything for you unless your one of those individuals who is of no further value to their employer than they were the day they were hired.

BTW: a couple of bucks an hour won't help enough. Why don't we pay em a hundred bucks an hour minimum wage?

DG,

Everyone pays taxes.

Some don't pay income tax, because they don't earn enough. Yet they go to work & do their best.
I would think you'd admire them, they aren't sitting home collecting welfare.

Here's the other issue, most democrats want to raise the minimum wage, so that folks can make a 'living wage,' most republicans oppose this.

Republicans continue to fight for the top tier. Meanwhile they resent helping the poor move up the ladder???

How does this mesh with 'Christian/family values?'
I don't get it?
