You are correct,from what i understand the
programming starts in the womb,some say 2nd
or 3rd trimester......

But these beliefs(programs) we all inherit and if that
basic programming then becomes our sub-conscious
and if we then operate 95% of the day in this state.......

hi doma,

reason i asked is because there was a missing category. a human being is not a blank slate at birth. some of who we are and how we behave and to some extent what we believe is pre-defined. so i was surprised to see that all 100% in your calculation was based on experience.

i was curious to read the study to understand the reason for the omission.

the person i have read on this is called Steven Pinker. i think i've talked about his book the Blank Slate with dig previously.

for myself, i think religion is a choice which should be made as an adult. but that is not how all parents think.
