In an objective reality the Placebo and Nocebo
effects simply would not exist.
For some reason,i cannot remember when,i
had the belief that sleeping pills don't effect
me............on say 8 or 9 occassions i have
wanted to take one or two....no matter
which or what brand i took it had no effect.
I was going to take a 20 hr flight so asked the
doctor for the strongest sleeping tablet he
could prescribe....he told me only ever to
take one,they were very strong!As i sat in
business class for the trip(now i had a bed
as well)i took the pill and awaited the effect!
An hour later i popped down the second pill,
30 minutes later the third.....there i was
3 pills later wide awake in my bed envious
of every other soul asleep....i didn't get
any sleep the whole flight(as normal).
There is Nothing strange about me,nothing
special,apart from a Belief that sleeping
pills don't effect me........My Belief effects
my reality,regardless of the medicine i take...this Cannot happen in an Objective Reality!
All medicine is a Placebo......that's why the
antibiotics are no longer working!!
