My husband was 24.
Its a long story.
We never dated until Tommy was killed in Vietnam. (my sweetheart, we planned to marry & dated for 3 years)
Bill was there to the rescue, he took me to the wake & the funeral & to dinner & in three days he proposed.
We were married a month later.
I'm grateful he was even though the marriage didn't last, we created two beautiful children. ;))
