The Zimmerman's brother statement had to be a relay from Zimmerman himself because Zimmermans brother was not there.
We have heard the recording featuring the coon statement on media several times. It is real!
Most of what is being read is either directly or indorectly coming from Zimmerman because, other than 911 calls, he was the only one there. We doubt that he is going to admit to racism, particularly in light of the fact that his father is a judge in one of the east coast states and was available to give advice via telephone.
We do not contest the facts that Zimmerman was bloody and was losing the fight.
Unless the seventeen calls for help were all recorded on 911 tapes we see no way that anyone could have counted them. We doubt that they were simply because it was the calls for help that triggered the 911 calls.
We do not contest what Martin's parents said after the death.
We had not heard the part about the animal control officer and what he said. However, in a court of law, the prosecution will tear to pieces the idea that an animal control officer could give advice on the carrying of firearms. Did the animal control officer carry any himself?
Although we had not heard about the lie detector test, we are curious how a midsized police department could have this sort of equipment available for immediate use with a trained operator so conveniently available to do the administration. And, also, why they would need to do this sort of test that quickly. These tests can be done at any time and what was the big hurry? We would point out that this police department had been criticized for not responding to 911 calls before which was part of the reason for the neighborhood watch. The town is apparently of some size and the police department is apparently not large enough to properly cover all of the area. It has been said that the police stated that it would be fifteen to thirty minutes before they could get anyone to the scene.
There is a lot of dust stirred in the air surrounding this case and a lot of interesting reporting being done by many. Not all of it may be accurate because the right wing has taken this case up as a cause to advocate for additional gun use and the left has taken it up as a cause for additional gun control, particularly in the area of the stand your ground laws which now exist in twenty six states in the United States. And, also, we need to remember that this is all taking place in the context of a southern town.
