The agreement is for 3 years ... the $120M in cash is going to be received in fiscal 2013 otherwise they would not have recorded it as a prepayment receivable according to their accounting policy.
The CFO Breszki said the following in the CC: "I will tell you that there's a total of $120 million or a little over that, that's not reflected in accounts receivables, because it’s due in future periods."
Samsung made payments over several periods spanning beyond a year for their four year agreement.
Because InterDigital will be getting $120M this year and recognized the receivable now, based upon what the CFO said is there another $120M payment expected in the future from Sony? Is the $120M from someone else? Or did he mis-speak with "not"?
