I have a new theory about the video card heat. Only a theory. This is a video card, right? Normally my video goes to screen saver or I turn it off. No need to see it running 24/7. The last four times I've checked it to see how folding was going the temp read in the 30's and started climbing right away. I wonder if the video card is stressed just trying to light up the display? I could continue to run this test the next two days. You guys know anything about that? If this theory is true, that would be good news and say to leave the display off when not using.

HI BAP

Those are reasonable for that card.
Mine both are the same way.
Your times per frame are very consistent so I wouldn't much worry about that. That card seems to run in the 70's and reaching 80 every once in awhile will not hurt it.

We had an ice storm here on Friday, overnight, and left a good half inch on the car and the sidewalk and porch. I chose NOT to go out and try to walk on it for fear of falling and messing up my back. I waited till later when the temps rose and the ice started to melt.

Hope all is well out there with you and mrs. BAP!!!!

My best,

micro.. Very Happy
