Temperature Madness

Remember I complained about temperature weirdness two weeks ago? It hasn't stopped. Been going on all the time. This is for the GDX460 video card only. I watched the temps this AM. It varied from a low of 29C to 84C yesterday. Putting my hand on the card it's actually cold to the touch or too hot to touch. Temp settles around the upper 70's. The cover is always off, the internal fan is set to 100 percent and when it goes to the 80's I lay the big room fan blowing right onto the case. Doesn't help much. I think it's related to where the folding project is in the step. The odd thing is this doesn't happen with the other video card. That one is stable.

ArVee. What you said is more reassuring. I just took a gander at the temp and it said 35C. Why? Must be cuz it finished a step and took longer with a chance to cool down between steps. I'll show you the log. Now the temp has resumed back to 74-75C. So Ill leave it alone unless it goes to 80C. With that fan going, the room is not hot at all.
