the law of the land, or is the current political movement to allow unauthorized use of patents for the greater good the new law - before someone makes a run at a pure research play.

The Supreme Court recently opened up the 'greater good' flood gates with its Eminent Domain decision, so I guess anything is possible today.

I agree. I'm just a little surprised that one has even made a move. Maybe they fear the opening of the flood gates if IDCC is really put into play.
