We had lunch with a friend of ours who watched the speech last night. He was absolutely livid because John Boehner did not get up and acknowledge the 102 year old black lady who president Obama recognized for standing in line for six hours last fall in order to get to vote. The optics for Republicans in general do not look all that good going forward!
