Then came Bush-II with 7 failures of leadership, leaving the debt limit at $11,315.0 billion, an increase of 190.17%. In all fairness, Bush-II should take credit for the debt increase on Feb. 17, 2009, less than one month into Obama's first term. That new debt limit was $12,104.4 billion for a real increase 203.43% in his eight years.
