All those little States are like our Counties, crossing borders on daily commutes, no problem, yet each has to duplicate all their services... There should be efforts to unify the Northeast into a common State, but likely too many bruised egos to let it happen.. A lot of wasted redundancy up there...
Same in other areas if they could do mergers, might be better for all...
