That's one alternative but there may be another. There have been many reports of instances where people with ati cards smp fold using 1 fewer core than they have and the combined points of the cpu and gpu operations are far greater than the cpu with all cores enabled alone. Don't know how to run one fewer core than the total offhand, but it's in there, might be worth a shot just to see before shutting down the gpu outright.

DUIT,

I would remove that card.

It is interfering with what you are trying to accomplish.

I would highly recommend Nvidia Cards to you for your future video card purchases if you decide later to do that because they are much more folding efficient.

Even the less expensive GTX 650 Ti card has 960 Cuda cores (shaders) while Sun's 660 Ti has 1344.

The 650 Ti would be a good bang for the buck.

But, to stay on topic, I would definitely remove that card to help your folding.

The best,

micro... Very Happy
