Someone who can place Wave's product in the marketplace could make a fortune. For some reason, that doesn't seem to be Wave. But I would guess someone like Symantec might be able to push it.

Maybe the key is to have a customer base using legacy software.

At any rate, the demand signals just haven't appeared and unless they do, there's no point in watching.

I agree there's a hint in the cash flow that things may be picking up. Made the point myself. But having made the point, the next interesting thing is the report. In two months? Oh gawd. It just isn't worth watching.

I've largely thrown the thing under the bus, am similarly not so interested in the DedicatedDreaming stuff, but am a bit perplexed by the lack of funding news.

I'm resigned to the notion that it will get bought for a modest amount.

It is not just legacy and so on, the constantly changing mosaic of platforms seems to re-stoke purchasing hesitation every time it is argued the pieces are in place. OS updates, legacy bios, mobiles, TPM 1.1, 1.2, 2.0... it doesn't seem the tech pauses long enough for folks to choose to invest in management infrastructure, which is fine if one is managing cash flow, and not if one manages cash-flow in a "we've made it to the finish line" fashion in the absence of having done so.

24601 made a quip about Dell having more latitude as a private company to put things under their own hood .... and I think most would settle for a few hundred million.
