I've largely thrown the thing under the bus, am similarly not so interested in the DedicatedDreaming stuff, but am a bit perplexed by the lack of funding news.

I'm resigned to the notion that it will get bought for a modest amount.

It is not just legacy and so on, the constantly changing mosaic of platforms seems to re-stoke purchasing hesitation every time it is argued the pieces are in place. OS updates, legacy bios, mobiles, TPM 1.1, 1.2, 2.0... it doesn't seem the tech pauses long enough for folks to choose to invest in management infrastructure, which is fine if one is managing cash flow, and not if one manages cash-flow in a "we've made it to the finish line" fashion in the absence of having done so.

24601 made a quip about Dell having more latitude as a private company to put things under their own hood .... and I think most would settle for a few hundred million.

On the other hand, I'm just not so interested in Wave watching these days. Basically, an entire year passed with no substantial news. That provides plenty of information about Wave's progress. Omissions are as meaningful as additions.

For me, the current presumption is that Wave is not a high growth company. Its product does not seem to have broad appeal. I'll change this presumption if they can get a flow of orders running. But speculating on future orders has been a mug's game.

So just speaking for myself, I've decided to leave all of that to the Wave NN board (No News). By all means post here if you wish, though.
