We're talking about the gpu, not the cpu here, BAP. 75 is actually getting close to tolerable. Since it's this 762x series that runs warm and I don't think you'll get another after this, why not just let it finish for now while the fan blows on it.

If you were to slow down a parameter it would be clock speed using Precision X It used to be shader speed but now clock speed on the latest cards. If you slow down something don't forget to put it back up when the hot stuff is over.

Mine run hot too to max out performance but 75 would be a maximum over any extended period of time. 80s is outright unacceptable.

ArVee. The side is off the case, always has been. When I took a look, the temp was up to 86C for a moment. I took a heavy blower, blew out the fan ... not that dirty. I now have a room fan blowing directly into the case. Temp is now a stead 75C, not lower. Methnks this 7625 is the villain. It must be heavy cpu bound on some steps and not others???

If this heat continues I will need to slow down the clocking. Can you advise me on what variables? I agree. The log looks normal. I would leave it alone if not for the temp. What temp max is recommended?
