Isn't it a bit of an indictment that we live in a nation where by just plain bad luck or whatever, the Pentagon's spending for one quarter drops 22% due to some flukes in contract signing, delivery of goods or the paying of invoices, and that this alone is responsible for moving the overall economic activities of the country as a whole into negative territory?

...still, the spending has not decreased. We can discuss how much the spending has gone down when the debt clock starts to run backwards.
