I'm in Indianapolis this week and today we had a meeting with a group of our customers, which was hosted by Andretti Autosports (or Mario/Michael Andretti Indy car fame), one of those customers. The facility that we were at was where they engineer and assemble the cars for their various racing efforts including of course, Indy Cars. While we were not allowed to take photos inside the actual shop area we could shot from the area where the meeting was being held, the garage where the team trailers are stored and where they hold meetings and events. Now we did get a tour of the shop later in the day, just that we had to keep our cameras in our pockets. Below is the best shot that they would allow and as you can see, not only is the shop large, it's very modern and clean (you could have eaten off the floor):

BTW, the 'banners' on the back wall represents every win by an Andretti team car since Michael Andretti took over the family business.
While I'm sure that they have their racing trophies on display somewhere, this is where they display some of the cars which have won those trophies:

There were a few of the more recent winners sitting down on the floor such as this one:

And as you can see, in addition to Andretti Autosports being a customer, we're also one of their sponsors so we get 'signage' on all their cars (small but easy to spot):

But the highlight of the day was when Michael Andretti stopped by to say hello to the group. He talked for a couple of minutes and commented about how they've been a user of our software for 15 years or so and how he was happy to host the meeting and he hoped we'd all get a chance to see the rest of the shop before we left:

Anyway, it was fun. I fly home in the morning.
