If the Constitution implicitly suggests that automatic weapons and cartridges are Constitutionally protected, I am all eyes and ears to see and read it.
...the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. It don't specify what kind they can't infringe on and it does not leave the job of specifying up to the federal gubmint. IMHO, the constitution needs a tune up, but it should not be ignored.
BTW: The constitution does no implicitly suggest that there is a right to abortion either.
