If the Constitution implicitly suggests that automatic weapons and cartridges are Constitutionally protected, I am all eyes and ears to see and read it.

...the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. It don't specify what kind they can't infringe on and it does not leave the job of specifying up to the federal gubmint. IMHO, the constitution needs a tune up, but it should not be ignored.

BTW: The constitution does no implicitly suggest that there is a right to abortion either.

Same sort of mentality that leads geriatric men to throw bags of blood at teenage girls seeking abortions.

When you "know you are right" you bring your own "morality" along with you.

The American people don't have an anti-gun lobby working the halls of the Capitol. It is the gun manufacturers who do that.

If government can keep drunks and the blind from driving cars on the public roads surely government has the power to keep drunks and the blind from wielding firearms.
To look at the US Constitution and find the most compelling thing to be the 2nd Amendment is lunacy.
