Good morning Cactus Flower,

Did you catch Sen. Ted Cruz on Meet the Press?

This man might have been the republican's great white hope, but he is really another reason the republicans won't win the Oval or popularity.

He's an 'educated lawyer,' yet he LIED & misrepresented the President wrt guns & the slaughter of children.

He's a disgusting crass politician & the American people will NOT benefit with his type!

However, none of his party called him on this other than Michael Steele, but he doesn't hold any power.

DO SOMETHING!

indeed.

i do hope the gop starts to change itself. its centre-right folks need to figure how to take the party back from the absolutists.

you can lean towards a less generous welfare state along with robust expenditure on defence without being silly about it. such a party would make a useful counterbalance against potential democratic excesses.

but they want to take things so far, few trust them.
