Micro,

The website for Galaxy also seemed to show two (2) 6-pins - but the one I have installed definitely takes a 6-pin and an 8-pin. But yes - I have on 6-pin connector and one 6+2 connector with both installed to make the 8-pin. When they sent it, they also sent an adapter to be able to convert a 4-pin Molex to a 6-pin and also sent an adapter to convert a 4-pin Molex to an 8-pin. I already had a 6-pin, so only used the adapter on the 8-pin and it was junk.

Sun :-)

On that card,
the power connectors.

You say one of those connector REQUIRES all 8 pins of a power connector?

Its definitely not TWO six pin connections that you can use a 6+2 power connector, just not using the 2????

The only reason I am asking is because Tom's Hardware is showing the card with a pair of six pin connections and I am wondering if THEY made a mistake.

Thanks,

micro....
