Micro,

I tried Afterburner 1st. But that was back when things weren't stable to begin with. She had finally run that 1st day - so when I got home that night, installed Afterburner, tweaked things up a very tiny bit - then saw the "test" on some part of it - I hit that thinking that would tell me whether she would run there - that immediately killed the whole computer. After that, she went into the run 30-40 minutes and do the restart thing. That's when I killed Afterburner. I did download Precision tool, but held off trying to do anything with it until we got her stable again.

Looks like very little over 1200 and she NANs out and kills the work unit. I'll just leave her there and see how she goes.

That first day, she was knocking out those 14,000 pointers about every 8 hours and maybe a few minutes. Then she was taking 9 - 9.5 hours on them. The one she just started (7624) she's showing 8 hours, 40 minutes to complete.. Frame times - 5 minutes, 17 seconds. Clock is at 1228, temp 72, fan 66%.

Sun,

That is pretty common for some video cards that I had in the past. They simply will not work nicely with precision tool from EVGA.

Have you tried the Afterburner tweaker before?

the best,
micro...
