That is pretty common for some video cards that I had in the past. They simply will not work nicely with precision tool from EVGA.

Have you tried the Afterburner tweaker before?

OK - I'm not going to "fess" up to what I did - I'm just going to say that the fan is out of "auto" and currently sitting at 74%, GPU temp is at 69 degrees.

I have bumped up the GPU clock to 1228 mhz and will let her run there for a while. With that bump up - I'm flashing a 70 degrees some for temperature.

Max on the fan appears to be 80%.
