That hard drive is rated at 6 GB transfer speed.
Translated, that means SATA 3.0, which equals 6 GB/sec.
Sata 2.0 equals 3.0 GB/sec.
This is why I wanted you to know about matching up cables rated for the speed transfer as well as putting that hard drive on your SATA 3.0 motherboard connector.
Do that with a SATA 3.0 cable connection.
That thing should just smoke!
