To optimize that speed for the hard drive and your operating system which is searching for the data on thathard drive, you should match up a SATA 3 motherboard connector with a SATA 3 hard drive for optimal speed. It will still work if you don;t, because it is backward compatible.
SO, yes, the motherboard SATA connectors on YOUR motherboard ARE (4) sata 2.0 and (2) SATA 3.0.
I didn;t look close but I would match up that SATA hard drive with the highest rated SATA configuration, whether it is 2.0 or 3.0
