Yes, Black Swan was a good read and is referenced n many books about the Financial Crisis e.g. Michael Lewis in "Panic - Financial Insanity", et. al.. In his book "Panic", Mr. Lewis clearly points to crux issues such as lack of "skin in the game", the Black-Scholes folly, and herd mentality - it is a good read in itself. You really come away loathing Wall Street investment bankers (and self-serving ex-hedge fund managers like Jim Cramer).
