Sun,
I have turned off, closed, the FAH Control numerous times, just like "X"ing out of a program, and then would go to PROGRAMS and click on the FAH CONTROL and re-start it from there rather than re-boot the whole computer.

It finds where it the restart point on a work unit is and then begins folding again.

You really can't hurt this thing so no need to be afraid of it.

As I said, I shut mine off , (close it) , and then go restart it with no difficulties.

I'd give it a try.

How cold is it where you are btw?

It's 28 here and I am shivering inside a 70 degree house.

micro.... Very Happy

Thanks, Micro!

Guys,

Just to make sure, from the FAH Control Panal - I click the "Quit" button? The note with it says that "the local client will be stopped if it was started by FAHControl". I have it set to start up automatically when Hollywood starts up - so I'm thinking I see it showing up in my services so thought I'd better ask. I also wondered if pausing it, then telling it to fold might do the same thing? I know you guys have also talked about, and I've seen the error "work unit not shut down properly, so running unoptimized" - so didn't want to shut it off improperly and cause reduced production (see ArVee - I did pay attention to at least most of what was being posted) ;-)

Another question I have - FAHControl panel opens automatically when I start Hollywood up, does "X"ing out of it and closing it stop the folding? I've been afraid to do that for fear it would, so I've just been minimizing it.

Thanks!

Sun :-)
