Wayne and I have very little in common. I have been against the NRA since refusing to go hunting as a child with my Dad many moons ago. I do not beleive teachers should have guns at school, if that is what you were alluding to.
Meantime, has your aim with the popcorn imrpoved any? They say throwing the entire bucket of popcorn at once can create the temporary but much-feared "wall of corn" Phalanx-style causing blindness for a split second to the perpetrator. I think a Budhist monk authored many such useful tactics. You can visit the stone it's written on located in Katmandu (senseless to kill a tree just for paper, shelter, cooking, and other useless things).
