Authentication, health metrics, etc... still key ingredients in the stew. I like the "LAN of one" reference. Insofar as the military testing the BeJesus out of WIN8 Tablets, I certainly don't see that ocurring in the AF unless it's happenning at AFRL (and I wouldn't call that quantity very significant). And the WTG thing? How easy is that to get lost, stolen, or wiped? I think that is similar to what Raytheon or NGC had developed and it rather died-on-the-vine. Summarily, don't agree with much of what he says.

Now why Lark is leaving is a bit of a conundrum. If he was a passionate as everyone claims, he would still be grinding it out at Wave, success in the wings or not. Could be a personal issue e.g health (his or significant other), etc... I can't see it as anything other than a significant loss most likely due to cost cutting....BICBW.
