I have to give Schwarzenegger credit when he was Governor he let it be known to all the people trying to bring an NFL team to LA/OC that they would not get a single dime from Sacramento and he recommended that the local municipalities take the same position, which I'm sure is why we haven't and NFL teams here and why there is not a lot of takers for the current plan, which basically does require that any endeavor to bring an NFL team to LA must be a 'pay-as-you-go' proposition. Neither the state nor the city is willing to give away the farm to a bunch of billionaires who sign contracts with millionaires.
