ribit,

I remember a Thanksgiving over 30 years, when I used to drink alcohol, had a few martinis before the family arrived for dinner.
My brother-in-law asked where the gravy was? I told him he was lucky to get the mashed potatoes!

Those who were there still laugh about it.

Its been 29 years since martinis effected my kitchen abilities ;))

Is there no end to chores to do and errands to run!?

...no there isn't. You shoulda known that by now. A wifes job is to keep us moving even if all she can think of is stuff that don't need doing. I yearn for the good old days when it was the mans job to watch football and the woman's job to cook. Im sure clo will agree.

Laughing
