Good afternoon Keystone,

We took about six steps up the monument and came right back down! Didn't get to see the underground river as they never mentioned it in 1988. There has apparently been much done there since we were last there in 1988.

Thanks for your reply.

Regards,

Joe

To say that "God exists" is the greatest understatement ever made across space and time.

Good Morning Joe!

The Yucatan is something that always defies description.
The underground river in Chichen Itza is a memory that has to be with you the rest of your life.
Indigenous population never bowed by the Spanish or the Church.

Climbing the steps of that monument scared me to death and then coming down was even worse.
