I want to say thank you to each of you whom I have come to know and enjoy through our time of folding together and other things we have in common!
In about an hour I will take my last shower with the surgical cleanser. Alarm set at 4:30 a.m.
Out the door at 5:30 a.m. arrive at Surgical Spine Center at 6:00 a.m.
Go back to prep room. Surgery at 7:00 a.m.
Yes, I have a little apprehension with this because of the nature of it in that one ever so slight miscue by the surgeon, and I can be paralyzed or have to walk with a knee and leg brace and be in excruciating pain for the rest of my life.
None of my other surgeries ever had these possibilities which is why this one gives me a little apprehension, and yet I have peace.
I will talk with you again as soon as I am able to sit up and move around.
You have been a real blessing and an encouragement to me, for which I will always be grateful.
If you happen to be awake at that time, please ask GOD to guide Dr. Saul's hands as he works to correct the spinal problems and free me from this pain.
Surgery will take around 2 hours. I have been told I should be able to go home in the afternoon.
With God, all things are possible.
Thanks so much for your encouragement and well wishes.
They are truly appreciated and heartfelt.
Will talk with you maybe tomorrow evening, even if for a moment or perhaps mrs. micro will give you a quick update. I'll ask her.
Good night to you guys and God Bless You and your families is my prayer for you all, our wonderful Folding Team and friends.
My best as always to you,
micro....
