IDCC Dividend
In the spirit of Christmas, giving back, and or paying it forward I would like you all to consider helping somebody like you all who I have met over the internet.
Super “Bo” Macan is a 3 year old boy who has IPEX. A disease I never heard of until a little over 5 months ago that has changed my life.
http://macanithappen.wordpress.com/about/
IPEX is an autoimmune disease caused by a dysfunction in the FoxP3 gene that has a high mortality rate and has only one treatment using Chemotherapy to completely destroy the affected person’s immune system and then a stem cell transplant to build a new immune system. Only boys get it, Bo’s twin sister does not have it. The disease is either caused by a bad egg or genetically passed from the Mom.
You can help in several ways;
Pray for Bo
Sign up to be a bone marrow donor at http://marrow.org/Home.aspx
And of course make a donation to Bo, their needs are many
I know all about IPEX because my grandson “Cooper” earned his wings yesterday morning. His story, told so eloquently by his parents can be found on Facebook at “Praying for Cooper”.
