hi loose,

i don't think more guns is the answer. more guns means cases like trayvon martin.

the answer has to be to cut the number down drastically.

in the uk, they had a huge programme for turning in handguns after the dunblaine massacre. people decided we had to change the way we did things after 16 small children were killed by a psycho.

result - a vanishingly small number of homicides using guns. it works where there is the will.

but in the end, the us hasn't got the will.

so there will be more of these events.

Hi Alea,

Interresting article on gun control in the AM last month. Tighter forms of gun control required while simultaneous tight and more plentiful issuance of concealed weapons allowance so someone can shoot the bad guy in the mall, movie theater, playhouse, etc...

Anyway, the NGIT dot has been visible for quite some time. Should there not have been an 8K filed? Also, wsn't it NGIT (perhaps Raytheon) who created the OS on a portable disk drive?
