Not after the Bush admin squandered a surplus budget and debt reduction to fight unnecessary wars off budget and approved the bush tax cuts simultaneity. You are so right in your argument against " guns don't kill people, people do" so control the people who try to buy guns. But that's just a start as there are so many legally purchased guns out there. Tax the heck out of those guns that aren't used for hunting or home protection. Want to own an AK47? Fine, pay $500 a year in tax to own one as is your constitutional right.
