While I don't speak for the NRA, I am sure that they would agree that criminals should be punished to the full extent of the law. This guy is/was a criminal. Whether he was a criminal before these events remains to be seen. In any event, the system failed.

As for my post being in poor taste, I respectfully disagree. We are already hearing folks screaming that guns should be illegal because of this event. If they are allowed to make a statement, then so am I.

I think posting an un-solicitated item like this on day like today is in very poor taste, but since you'e brought it up, I wonder what the NRA's position is concerning someone who holds a classroom full of 5-year olds in terror and then shoots them execution style?
