Have to keep an eye on both... And some routing depends on how your vehicle is defined, Truck or Car, Public Transit or Walking.. We use it while off camping, sometimes it's taken us off on small back roads, but you get to see areas you'd miss... One leg on our way into Yosemite, heading for a small town campground, it brought us down a dead end, across the rver from where we wanted to be, tight to turn PU & trailer around to get back out... But it's also stopped lots of 'discussions' on which way to go.. Going to a new home for a party, gathering, great to use... In LA, with the parallel highways, streets tight, it had trouble getting us onto the right one sometimes, so back around and we made it to the concert on time! Getting from one Getty to the other, very handy... I use it many time just to have an idea of my arrival time,... It would have saved tons of time at work, finding remote cell sites, work locations, hardware stores, gas.. Now it's in out phones, iPads, but in the car/PU we'vegot a Garmin nuvi 670, good for the US, Europe.. No good for walking, the iPhone is better for that... Google just released a new Maps app... Many rent cars come equipped now... No denying you went off road in Hawaii or...
Enjoy the 'Recalculating" as you miss your turn!
