Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker keeps same-day voter registration

Reversing course on the issue, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker said Wednesday he would not get rid of same-day voter registration in the state because the change would cost taxpayers $5.2 million.

â€œThere is no way Iâ€™m signing a bill that costs that kind of money,â€ Walker said, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
