While I was using more recent crime data (my stats are from 2011), I didn't have the time/inclination to look up high school graduation rates, demograhics, and economic conditions in the states I had researched.

We were discussing how guns make us less safe, weren't we? And how only public servants are qualified to protect us with guns (even though the Supreme Court has said the police have NO duty to protect the individual).
