Unions are a business with a product/ service. Their specialty is contract negotiations. The only control a worker has over a corporation is their union. The only control they have over their union is their ability to get out. If they can't get out, the union can put a bad product on the table and you still have to buy it.

Do you realize, in all but one, 'right to work state,' employees makes on average $1500.00 a year less, compared to union jobs.

...do you realize that the unemployment rate in non right to work states is higher than in right to work states. If unions are so great, how come they have to force people to join under threat or duress?

Workers are not entitled to the benefits that a union job offers, unless they pay their dues.

I would think even a republican would understand that.

We shouldn't be crawling to the bottom, we should be reaching higher.
