but it's still a demand issue, whether we are talking phones, tabs or pcs.

first mover advantage is a waste of time if no one buys your stuff.

if we can't explain the weak demand to this point (and not just in the excuse form that we hear so often), we have no business creating expectations about the future.

repeating the letters dod isn't a signature on a contract.

wave is not a player, unless it becomes one.

on the other hand, wave's ceo apparently sees wxp as a success because he believes he was able to raise some money partly on the strength of it. so operational success isn't necessarily the thing wave values! funding the company without generating revenue is also cool.

Thx 4321 - that helps.

For me, MS is nice but its phone market share is small.

Android is key but the MNO step requires more discovery on my part.

RIM and Apple are still taking a proprietary approach, but they are future-proofing themselves in case they wish to change their minds.
