When you first install and set up version 7, you are given a choice of WHAT will be folding. You will see it automatically list GPU AND SMP folding.
However, there is a drop down menu that you can select either GPU folding or SMP folding individually.
I only run GPU folding on my version 7.
The first thing I do is to change from NOVICE to EXPERT setting.
After that, I then click on the configure tab.
On the left side of the far right tab I click on ADD and then type in at the top of the box: client=true
bottom box I type BETA
Click okay and exit.
That's how I do it.
