and hence, we need more carbon, and fortunately we have done just that. We have more carbon, there is more of us so will we will need more carbon, and so the story of all this carbon being bad, and all the warming it causes ignores the fact you mention ... there are more of us, we need more carbon.

So its all good, there are more of us, but whew, we have more carbon to work with. All good.

Our situation is rather promising. I find it to be an understated point.

Except for the fact that there's three and a half times as many folks on the planet as there were when I was in grade school. And I ain't THAT old. (At least in Wave time.)

That's the source of most of my various biggest worries. Not that I'll be around to see most of it.

*edit...probably not 3.5 times as many, more like 3 or slightly under. I think they've decided that it was more than the 2 billion they taught us in grade school.
