GM Micro --

I think everybody except you would agree that you shouldn't be worried about folding issues if you're in pain. Unless you find it a diversion that is. Otherwise just fold yourself into bed if that's even a relief and see if sleep will come. You'll be relieved I'm sure when the two weeks have passed and you can just get in there and get it done. I know from experience that there's nothing as bad/debilitating as chronic back pain (sciatica over at this end, but much much better now than it was) and the worst aspect of it is there's just no relief, no escape, no comfortable position you can resort to when it's getting too much, it's just always there. As I say, the sooner you get the surgery the better. It'll get here, just seems like forever.

Hang in as best you can and like the trooper you are.

that since reverting back to XP Pro, the version 7 folding client seems to be disagreeable with my computer or the video card. It keeps freezing up and shutting down.

I have uninstalled and re-installed the drivers, defragged the registry, cleaned it, allto o avail.

Today I uninstalled that folding client. I re-installed the 6.41 GPU folding client and added the - betateam flag.

Of course, I got the dreaded 7625 work unit. So I am hand cuffed out of the starting gate.

However, so far, I have not had the issue with the seizing up of the computer and blue screens.

That is strange. My other computers do not do that and they run XP Pro with SP 3 and Folding client 7

Makes me wonder if the video card may be going bad.

On Monday, I will have two weeks until my surgery on three vertebrae. Technically it is called herniated disks but specifically it is a FACET problem that is pushing down on the nerves.

It is getting worse by the week.
Mrs. micro and I are trying to get ready for Christmas ahead of time as I will be house ridden for four weeks after the surgery and allowed to return to work for half days after that until Doc releases me for full time days in my office.

This is a lot more extensive than we were first advised and he said that after reviewing the films more, he would need to do more work than originally thought. One more vertebrae, the one that joins the spine to the pelvis needs to be fixed as well.

I am really in need of a pick me up as I am a bit grumpy and somewhat down. The constant pain and shock waves just drain me after awhile. I think my age is catching up to me.

Sorry for rambling. I am just a tad discouraged and really hurting tonight even with two pain pills in me at same time.

Had to do a complete audited inventory today and just turned to say something to one of the employees and apparently twisted just right and I went down to the floor.

My numbers are going to be off and I will try to straighten that out as quickly as I can.

You all are great and I am honored to be part of your team.

I need to lay down and try to get comfortable as I could just scream from the pain.

the best,

micro...
