Brooklyn Viagra chemist and hubby killed in likely murder-suicide

She helped improve countless love lives — but her own did not end in bliss.
A Brooklyn chemist who helped produce the male-enhancement pill Viagra was apparently shot and killed by her husband in what cops suspect is a horrific murder-suicide, sources said.
Elsie Jones, 39, and her husband, Peter Jones, 53, were found yesterday morning in their Canarsie home with gunshot wounds to their heads, cops said.
They were discovered by police making a wellness check after they had not been seen by family for more than a day.
“Based on what we have right now, we’re looking at a possible murder-suicide,” a police source said. “Officers found them both in the living room of the home surrounded by a pool of blood.”
“She was trying to divorce him for a while, but he must have just snapped,” said the dead woman’s sister, Rachelle Thevenin, 34, who added that Elsie had worked as a chemist at Pfizer for 13 years. “I know she wanted to get away from him. I just can’t believe it.”
The couple left behind their 8-year-old son, Thevenin said.
“They were getting a divorce and it was getting bitter,” said neighbor Maria Moses, 42.
