...rain and snow is the result of water evaporating in one place and either raining or snowing somewhere else. Scientists are just people. They are as susceptible to corruption as anyone else. If you offer em a govt grant to study "the global boobeyman" they are gonna report that he exists and that it's worse than they thought. Gonna require a whole lot more money to determine just exactly how bad it is. There are as many "scientists" who don't believe in global warming as there are who do. Last but not least, if global warming is real, why hasn't anyone proposed a fix besides tax increases? Everybody who believes in global warming is making a living from it or gaining power from it. Every one of em.

and maybe its because of too much rain & snow?

Scientists live their lives keeping track of these measures. I suspect they are on to something.
